SESAC SCORES: A Weekend Workshop with Danny Lux

Part of SESAC SCORES: The Beck Diversity Project, this is a hands-on workshop conducted by award-winning TV composer Danny Lux. The event will start with a Friday night tour of Christophe Beck’s studio, followed by two days of intensive workshops at the SESAC offices in Santa Monica. Participants will receive individualized advice on how to improve their TV scoring techniques, along along with lectures, tips, and career advice.
The workshop is most suitable for people who have quite a bit of scoring experience, and want to up their game. If you feel like you’re at the glass ceiling and ready to break through, this workshop is for you!
The workshop will take place in Santa Monica, California. Travel is not included.
Women, people of color, and members of other under-represented groups are highly encouraged to participate.
You must have your own mobile rig - keyboard, laptop, samples, etc. - ready to score to picture.
Some professional experience is preferred.
Must be over 21 years old.
Members of all PROs may apply.
Pictures/video will be taken.
Parking, breakfast, and lunch are included.
A maximum of eleven participants will be accepted.
This workshop is FREE to all participants.
Application deadline is June 22. Chosen participants will be notified by June 30.
